MULTILINGUAL AUDIOBOOKS FOR CHILDREN

Poliglobooks is a creative project developed within the framework of Communications that provides a series of multilingual audiobooks for kids about folk tales from different non internationalised nationalities and cultures. The audiobooks are available online in 5 different languages (Catalan, Spanish, English, German and Italian) as a pedagogical tool for families wanting to offer their children a bilingual or even trilingual education. All the elements included in the audiobooks are self-created, such as the folk tales’ adaptation and their translations, the voice recording, its music (written and played with my own cello) and the corporate image.
The purpose of the project is to encourage the use of audiobooks from an early age as well as in the study of foreign languages, to popularise non internationalised cultures, to improve child cognitive development and to promote equality and multicultural values moving away from social and cultural prejudice. The audiobooks are available both for streaming and downloading.

Poliglobooks is been funded in 2022 by der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien with the NEUSTART KULTUR grant.
